My phone number is quite literally my ID. The SIM card has a KYCed multi-PIN protected hardware private key in it that is used as a Qualified Electronic Signature. Meaning it can be used to sign in to government services, banks and even sign legally binding agreements like founding a company or getting a mortgage.
