So terrible. We need to talk about it more, whether it’s Israel’s occupation of Palestine or russia’s occupation of Ukraine. I really don’t think people understand how fucking terrible life under occupation is and tend to blame the oppressed rather than the war criminals committing genocide and occupation. The parallels between what Israel and russia are doing are insane, yet people refuse to see them. I personally believe that russia’s actions in occupied Ukraine are happening precisely because Israel has never been punished for its daily atrocities on the occupied territories. As a result, russians know there will be no accountability, that the International Court of Justice and the Geneva Conventions are a complete joke and unenforceable, as Israel has proven over the past decades.
