My dilemma is I want to be friendly to strangers in public when they ask me questions about my job/industry but then my opsec paranoid brain thinks that's a bad idea

Feel you Linda, sometimes I feel like it’s just better to keep it lowkey, if they’re really interested in crypto they will find out by themselves.

And if they were just interested in the money aspect I rather keep quiet, don’t want these kind of people around.
