this feels counterintuitive to my experience on WC - casts are more relevant, less noise, bots or token spams. Folks seem to be vibing and shipping more which is great. My gut feel is that changes to how $degen worked helped reduce the number of spam/bot related posts and reactions resulting in the decline

I fully agree with the quality of the ecosystem. However, I think it is important to propose initiatives that have an impact on the demand for the token. The economic incentives for the whole ecosystem lie in finding people who find value in having the token.
