brands will pay abysmal amounts of cash to partner with face value influencers because of large follower counts but have zero community alignment 

this is a widespread web2 problem - consumer brands think a 100k influencer will make them blow up overnight - all it does is bring maybe 100 followers and half are going to unfollow in a couple weeks 

this is leaking into web3 too and its just a drainer

spend maybe a couple weeks more and really scope out the person you’re trying to partner with 

you’d be better off getting an influencer/KOL who genuinely has alignment with your community than a random person grifting off of noobs
