in 2016 i was watching the polls on politico in the middle of a high school economics class when the race was called for trump in 2020 i was working from home with politico on my massive monitor, watching for few days until the race was called for biden today… i am likely going to be packing for bangkok for my first international crypto conference when the race is called. what a ride

i really want an oura ring but it is crazy to me that the silver is $350 but the gold/rose gold is $500 it’s such a product miss imo feel like you could capture more of the market by standardizing price across colors & gold plating is not a good reason for the hike, the color matters & can be achieved with out

too much anti-event sentiment going around during token too many projects and marketers underestimate the ROI of fun maybe no one's talking about your L2 but the value of "i had so much fun at [L2]'s event at token" is valuable especially if your guest list is curated and high quality and your programming is interesting having your brand subconsciously associated with a good time goes a long way

happy UN general assembly week time to carry my ID on grocery runs & workouts so the nypd will let me go home 2 yrs ago i had to literally pull up my lease agreement so they would let me cross over to my building my neighborhood is great except for this one week every year

brands will pay abysmal amounts of cash to partner with face value influencers because of large follower counts but have zero community alignment this is a widespread web2 problem - consumer brands think a 100k influencer will make them blow up overnight - all it does is bring maybe 100 followers and half are going to unfollow in a couple weeks this is leaking into web3 too and its just a drainer spend maybe a couple weeks more and really scope out the person you’re trying to partner with you’d be better off getting an influencer/KOL who genuinely has alignment with your community than a random person grifting off of noobs
