a few thoughts while mowing if a local coffee shop accepted usdc, eth, degen, etc on base i would go to that coffee shop every single time not only that, bc they would be first i would prob bias towards them even after all the others started accepting it is there a list anywhere of shops that accept onchain payment?

I know there is a taco joint in the Missouri or Illinois somewhere that accepts crypto. But itโ€™s mainly built on Algorand. Although I bet they would be open to building things on Base as well

can be a start of a project similar to btcmap? with coinbase card thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m doing already for months, in any of the best coffee shops in town and they arenโ€™t even aware that Iโ€™m paying with ETH lol

that would be such a cool idea. However in Spain not that many know or believe in cryptocurrency. Would be a great idea though and I'm sure in a few years time will be reality

Dude I go to different theater shows and stuff like that where every time I want to buy a ticket they want me to make a profile on their piece of shit little website, and if they accepted USDC it would cost them less and would be 1000 times more efficient.

I keep telling my business owner friends this. Unfortunately our reputation precedes us. They either have personal opinions or worry (rightly?) they would lose some of their existing customer base by integrating crypto.

I guess it depends on countryโ€™s tax regulations. I know in France it would be pretty difficult. Not undoable but pretty difficult. Or it would need to be completely off the grid.
