every time i visit a new place it’s a reminder that we’re all so similar

borders, language, beliefs give this illusion that we’re vastly different and the leaders/media tend to amplify that, but i just find it hard to believe

personally feel it’s pretty clear that much of the human experience is universal

investor, photographer, nomad, exploring onchain & exploring the 🌎 /positivesum

witnessing this for 20+ yrs since I started my international career

I translate movies, co-own a loss-making fast-food joint, and raise two kids

the surprise gets less and less over time, but it definitely still hits me

the surprise is less and less
but the pleasure remains, from seeing the same values and same joys

not much pleasure in being artificially divided though
