50% of people think tips are spammy sometimes. 10% always. Wonder if there is a better convention that allows Farcaster clients to better classify / collapse tips into a more useful UX for those that want to see them and hidden for those that don't want them. Parsing $[token] replies with some regexes could work but a bit naive.

i think a big part of that “sometimes” response is based on what token is being tipped, i would vote sometimes bc there are some random small new tipping tokens i simply don’t care about, if this poll was just $degen - the first one to do it - i would vote “never” i believe that muting is best here, bc otherwise it could be viewed as censoring what is a big part of the current incentive mechanisms for good content on here, especially in the more creative communities such as photography and art, tipping onchain is unique to fc and imo a net positive that should be talked about and in the open vs shying away from how attention value uniquely accrues when wallets are connected to a social network if done like @moxie-support does, i’d be curious how we could see who has tipped us, if it’s in notifications that would work, maybe both options is best - via action or cast
