There’s really nothing better than a good book While movies are great, and tv shows as well, there is a level of fidelity that I can get from books that I just don’t feel like I get from books. It’s also where I am at the moment - just really enjoy books Also I’ve been enjoying fiction a lot more lately, and getting so much from it. Great stories are really hard to beat. Also as I get older maybe I’m just less inclined to spend time reading things I don’t enjoy

For me personally this is the same and it's because you make your own movie from a book you're reading. It's as if you're reading a script and you're the director, you decide what the main character looks like, what the lighting is, what tone of voice the characters have... That's why often movies based on a book are very disappointing. We have a clear visualisation in our head and the movie remake mostly doesn't match that vision. It's only a very few times that I've liked a movie based on a book. Le Otto Montagne being one of them, it respected the pace of the book and the characters more or less matched my idea of them.
