It sounds like you were well-prepared this year, but the plateau’s weather still had the upper hand! Even with proper clothing, those high-altitude winds can be surprisingly chilly, especially in the evening or early morning.
Layering is key in such environments. You might want to try thermal base layers, a good insulating mid-layer (like a fleece), and a windproof or waterproof outer layer. Accessories like gloves, a hat, and a neck gaiter can also make a big difference in keeping you warm.
Despite the cold, it's great that you were able to enjoy the experience more this year. It's all part of the adventure, right?

Last year, I had a difficult experience because I only wore short sleeves, so this year I prepared proper clothing. However, it was still a bit cold.

If you're keen on spending more time there, you might consider bringing some extra layers, a windproof jacket, or even a compact blanket. Sometimes, being prepared for the elements can turn an uncomfortable situation into a memorable experience. And who knows, perhaps with the right gear, you could enjoy the tranquility of that free space more comfortably!

Even in summer, on a plateau, when the wind is strong, it becomes so cold that you can't enjoy the scenery. That's why there's no one around. It's a free space where you won't be disturbed by anyone, but it's unfortunate that you can't spend time there comfortably.
