I feel like I’m not using copilot as much as I could be when writing code.

it's crazy to me how many gigabrains slept on Cursor for nearly a year. countless 10x devs and CTOs I've talked to. I've been grossly overestimating the number of devs getting 10x+ leverage with AI in the past year.

been trying out windsurf vs cursor yday

still early days to say whether one is better over the other

there are a lot I am missing from cursor for a legit workflow

tab autocomplete, context tagging, terminal context -> add to chat to say the few...

tab autocomplete exists in Cursor - it has Copilot built in as well. You can tag "@codebase" when asking for changes with Cmd+K to give RAG context.

oh no I meant I am missing features in windsurf (coming from cursor)

they haven't done releases for awhile, can't wait to see whether they giga improve it with the supermaven team acquihirie

part of me feels I'm still faster in cursor opposed to windsurf for now..

interesting to hear - I haven't gone that deep on windsurf as I'm currently mostly using Colab and not working on any codebases in the classical sense :P
