love how he's like there's this new lib have you heard of the Lord and Saviour "Effect" you get this error and wrap it in another Error for this lib and use try catch and promise and console using the exported lib methods cc @samuellhuber.eth

can someone rewrite the '@farcaster/hub-nodejs' package in rust or python pls God forsaken language yesterday I found out that nextjs v13+ indefinitely caches native fetch requests in server actions by default and I implemented a server side TTL cache without knowing it did that, kept thinking it was my code why is fetch not just fetch

like realistically programming has gotten so non-vanilla that we need to pay a monthly LLM subscription to code and attract influencers to make lies about writing an app without writing a single line of code state of things

You can’t just useEffect > fetch > setState You need to write the cache logic, etc… That’s the use of meta-frameworks like Next.js, they have to make some assumptions on the functioning on your app. This is also why I don’t use Next.js, it’s wayyyy too opinionated for me. I prefer Remix
