picked some ideas I enjoyed from @fredwilson.eth interview at Farcon

1/ social is infra

twitter/tumblr/zynga in 2007 was the first time we made the experiment. It worked, but all came crashing down when platforms pulled back their APIs 

2025 = we run it again with Farcaster, but this time it's unruggable

2/ platforms rug when incentives diverge, not because they’re evil.  Facebook and Twitter nuked their dev ecosystems because economic pressures mis-aligned them with partners

3/ mini-app → full-app pipeline

ship a frame, watch usage, then graduate power users to a full client. cheap experiments > big launches.

I actually think it can work the other way round for power users in a headless client world

discover full feature set in desktop web app, become a portable power user with mini-apps/headless clients with a localised feature set that is platform adjusted

the sequencing is from user POV

discover in mini-app, become a power user in the fully fledged app
