I still think the “killer app” is instant, global, sub cent transactions. It amplifies existing economies and creates new digital economies previously not possible. It takes a while to replace global infrastructure & current payment systems do a great job of hiding their egregious take rates

I think he'd argue that rather than that being a "killer app" it's a marginal improvement over existing apps which is why it's taking so long to replace current infra.
