warpcast has their own internal filters on the raw numbers from the hubs

a few things to keep in mind: - warpcast might not show(at least publicly) certain content from lower quality users/nerfed content - there have been some sync delays from warpcast's backend posting to hubs & other hubs receiving those messages, which might slow down event propagation like this

Most third party clients are requesting data from Neynar/airstack rather than running their own hubs. Updating follower counts etc cost money so not worth it for them to continually update, they likely update daily or weekly hence the lag.

Also see this: https://warpcast.com/v/0x65a1c8fa Hubs are delayed including for Neynar. Warpcast will have the most up-to-date info as almost all messages go through their hubs via warpcast.

Reality is, this is every social network - ala twitter/x etc. A set amount of content will always be hidden from you as it's flagged as spam. FC present all the data in a very raw format to clients, and each client will decide what's real and what's fake differently. 300 $degen
