I don’t think anyone wants you (or anyone) to fit in here. 

I think people want to understand what makes your perspective uniquely your own

weird internet kid. helping Creators with /seemore. yapping on /okbanger. curating in /creators and /cameron. dev + veteran + HBS.

Fitting in to provide a sense of comfort, alignment, and familiarity. Like what many OG devs may have with the eth foundation. 

I think what makes a community is that sense of belonging. 

And yes, I can see there are generally more diverse perspectives and curiosity here than anywhere else

Unpopular opinion - but it may be time for invites to open up. Easier for network effect, easier for me to onboard folks I will enjoy it here

Totally get that - earnest question. 

What are you looking for that will might help you feel that more?

I think there can sometimes be tension between “fitting in” and “belonging”. 
Agree with @cameron about not wanting people to fit in. Bring your uniqueness! But people need to feel like it’s a place they could ultimately belong to.
