Any trustworthy messaging applications out there for day-by-day use? Found Session (https://getsession.org/) intriguing, though didn't test yet. Especially interesting is removal of any phone number dependency.

Paranoia: #1. Wolfs don't wear sheep's clothing anymore. An innocent appeal to publish a photograph, has a chaining effect. "𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧". That simple. Expect a flood of PII. Only vigilant ones recognize the signals of carefully thought campaign targeting psychological mechanisms.

As of muting, there's already a way through Profile->Mute user. However, it's exhaustive (rid of user's cast completely), which I find inapropriate and would rather select what kind of content I don't expect to see from that user (as a form of granular control over content).
