ok serious question do people actually enjoy eating burritos like this? what is the point of wrapping it up just for it to completely disintegrate and only salvageable with a fork and knife? any time i order a burrito and it comes wet with cheese and sour cream on top it breaks my heart

not the biggest fan of them, but probably the smothered burrito that I love the best is the twisters burrito from new mexico... it's topped with curly fries, lettuce, tomatoes, and your choice of red or green chile - pro tip - order it christmas (both red and green chile)... this isn't a great picture, but the only i found online that you could actually see the burrito. fun fact - twisters is where "los pollos hermanos" from breaking bad was filmed..

i'll also note the twisters burrito comes in increments of 1/8. The first time i ordered it i thought 1/2 would be appropriate... it took up 2 plates and i took most of it home 😀 always ordered 1/8 burritos after that.
