It really sucks that game of thrones hit the 💩 at the end. I'm doing a rewatch and when it was good, it was incredible. I'm watching with the excitement as if I have no idea what happens because I'm invested. 

So many don't rewatch because of the end, but I think we'd have a collective re-appreciation for what was.

LEGIT. My theory is that that is exactly how he was planning on ending it — and saw its terrible reception and scrapped the whole thing. 

I don’t think he’s writing anymore. I doubt we’ll ever get the last book 😭

even worse, apparently this could be the direction the books will go, and that might be why they are so delayed, because the show did such a bad job of telling the story!

Agree, and I have the same take on Battlestar Galactica — up to middle of season 3 it’s incredible then fell off badly, tho maybe not so much as GoT. I’m wanting to do a rewatch but hard to get motivated because I know how it ends up.
