Do you try to get someone's Farcaster when you meet people at conferences? I haven't noticed this being a 'thing' yet

I just follow people that I actually know. Since being mean to people here is not allowed culturally, I‘ve decided I will only follow people who I know and where it is a high likelihood that I won‘t dunk because I know them personally.

If their recent casts seem authentic and thoughtful or align with my interests, it’s an easy follow for me

Sometimes it may take a couple times seeing them in feed before I decide to follow
