I didn't join farcaster for any reason related to my established writing stuff. I joined for the vibes and because BFG has been in crypto and crypto-adjacent socials since 2012, and he is the love of my life. I want to go where he goes.

But I'm starting to see how this place is so much more than a social network.

Farcaster is the first thing in crypto that interested my wife in 12+ years, and I know she’s not the only one like this

It’s simply built different

My wife's eyes glaze over when I talk about anything crypto.  I tell her about a social media app that monetizes your efforts, and suddenly she's interested.  They must be studied.  For science.
