i love farcaster but i see it dying inside its own bubble

farcaster needs a client not focussed on crypto and crypto people

crypto has a huge branding problem, same reason why vcs flock to stablecoin to gain adoption

could be 100% wrong and its the right direction to pursue :)

why does bluesky have 30m (mostly noncrypto) users

- app works
- content is relevant, fun and interesting to an everyday person

farcaster has amazing content for crypto people, but there is just so few of us that there is not much room to grow, if you throw web2 folks into farcaster they will explore it but not stick (from my experience)

bluesky ceo is ex zcash and while they might not build onchain did's i think they are very much value aligned with fc even if they are competing protocols

I churned because content was trash (sorry not sorry)

I become fc pilled because i had genuenly interesting connections + conversations about crypto, hence why I still love it here

Onboarding the next wave means speaking human, not protocol language.

The problem is the lack of meaning, I see young guys chasing easy earning during university without contributions and leveraging other people's ideas because it's easier than understanding the meaning of what they do, and they get rewarded, meaning is as important as tech perfection for a digital product and we lost it in our way, now AI can build the tech part pretty well also for an imperfect dev like me, but I don't think it can supply the community and the decentralization concept, that one you experience and understand only by helping each other.

maybe farcaster can help fix the branding
