The top plane of the first "Automatic Totalisator," designed by George Julius (1913). It was a mechanical computer designed for calculating and displaying bets at horse races. Me toooooo. To me, this is more impressive than any digital computer could ever be. It's insane to imagine figuring out how to translate the physical movements into calculations.
