how does the client know what to do when the user clicks the button?

prev: /nook, protocol @ opensea, co-author seaport & stuff.
professional @slokh and @0xalexander fanboy

uri including fn selector could be pretty useful on its own (tho v evm specific)

is the fallback link just the link to the frame itself

By default it is literally just an external link. If you don't know what to do, send the user there.

In the Warpcast case, we will check if the contract is a Zora mint and upgrade the button to "Mint with Warps."

In the future, I can imagine fetching from something like the Mint Dot Fun API.
