Anyone have any methods for learning to read/write new languages? Chinese is really kicking my ass rn.

I would recommend textbooks + flashcards since a lot of the reading/writing part of Chinese is just being able to recognize the most common characters. Also not sure how much practice you have with writing Chinese but they make character practice worksheets which are useful!
