/immutableratings is a web3 app where users can Rate anything that has a URL, recording their Public Sentiment onchain.

Whether it is a Profile, a Post or Page, you can now both Like it👍 or Dislike it 👎.

We’ve deployed on @base and supported URLs include those from Twitter, Warpcast and Wikipedia, with more platforms to be supported soon.

Why now?

Contrary to public belief, and in an environment where most teams are holding off launches due to market conditions, we actually believe this is the best time to launch.

Users transacting onchain now are the best test case for this application. There are no tourists. 

We’ve heard too many times “there’s too much infra but not enough apps” (outside of DeFi). 

IR is a Social3 app that leverages blockchain's raison d'être: decentralized, permissionless, censorship resistant and immutable.

How it Works?

Head to our website and straight away rate cards with a click and your Rating will be onchain forever, within a few seconds.

Use the Search Bar to find existing content. If it doesn’t appear in the results, just paste the URL, Create a New Rating Card, and cast your Rating.

That URL becomes an onchain identifier, a unique marker that represents individuals, entities and content directly on a blockchain, enabling tracking sentiment tied to such identifiers.

Smart Contracts

These URLs are transformed into unique Ethereum addresses, derived using a Keccak-256 hash. 

When users cast a Rating, ThumbsUp ($TUP) or ThumbsDown ($TDN) ERC20 tokens are minted directly by the ImmutableRatings.sol contract to an unownable URL-hashed address, making the ratings immutable.

All contracts have been audited by Hashlock.com and we’re extremely grateful to @fletcher for having immediately clicked with our vision and partnering with us from day 1.

IR Fee 

We set the fee to 0.00007 ETH ($0.11 cents at the time of writing), the lowest possible value that we believe will keep bots at bay but also sustain the project. 

We’re fully self-funded, with the majority of proceeds going toward supporting our team and reinvesting in Growth activities. Check the team at https://ratings.wtf/team

Additionally, 5% of all IR Fees are allocated to @ProtocolGuild as a token of appreciation for the vital work Ethereum Core Developers do to maintain and advance the Ethereum network.

Why Immutable Ratings?

In Web2, our opinions are transient: likes, posts and comments are controlled by platforms that not only control the algo, but also can change the rules overnight.

~ Bots inflate follower counts, likes, and reposts, creating distorted metrics, important for advertisers, creators, and platforms relying on real engagement. 

~ Influencers and brands can buy bot followers to fake clout.

~ Dislikes don't exist, unless you scroll through the comments sorted by the algorithm.

Immutable Ratings allows users to express their sentiment onchain while simultaneously generating a social graph based on the wallet footprint created through their ratings activity.
