It’s funny how life works. I was a digital artist before NFT’s existed. Trading digital artworks for digital pets, arguably of questionable value. Then I became a traditional artist as NFT’s came into full glory. And now I seem to have ended up somewhere in between. Either my timing is perfect or destined to always be just a little bit off…

Just finished watching Kaos (new Netflix series) only to find out that they’ve cancelled the budding marvel that it was, because it didn’t do well enough within a couple months of release. Now the three season story arc has been lost to the ether, both art and artists disregarded. Made me think about decentralisation of film financing.. perhaps we need it more than ever!

In the midst of my second encounter with Covid I have been testing the launch of my next, and biggest project to date. Something that spans ceramics and blockchain technology. Thank you! And absolutely! Phygital just means physical x digital. I’m working on a ceramics project at the moment where pieces have (NFT) digital passports linked via NFC chips, but more importantly an aspect of the project (which I’ll be sharing very soon) allows people to breed their ceramic characters and receive the baby as an additional physical. Essentially just playful integration of physical and digital for various aspects of utility in the arts. Hard to explain well in a reply but will be sharing videos on it in the coming week ❤️🫶 thanks for asking! 🦄✨

Losing my mind today with my web developers who keep changing my perfectly designed Figma files and then trying to get me to sign off the next stage of development… Joked to my business partner about hitting them over the head with the OG computer to get them to see sense. Now googling it, had no clue it weighed 30 tons 🫣🤭 But in other news, can’t wait for the website to be ready so I can properly start sharing the project I’ve been working! And while we all wait, here are some glaze tests for that very same project drying atop the kiln.
