Candidates should always be able to articulate - Their opponent’s position on core issues. - What the trade-offs are, what you’d have to believe for it to work, and where risks may be. - Why they disagree, and why you should too. Armchair critique but someone should start a podcast/show doing this.

I hate that I respect both US presidential candidates in this regard less than managers and peers in the workplace.
