Looking at the miniapp leaderboard, I wonder if farming mechanics are really essential to driving engagement numbers in this stage of the market

Happened with FB dev platform in the beginning too (ex: FarmVille, Restaurant City, Pet Society). Idle games are a great as low commitment hooks to build user habits on a new platform. TBD if it’s retentive over time.
