Hard agree. Few thoughts (1/2): 📰 News/discussion has always been primary use case for text-based social media. 📢 With internet, we shifted from fewer trusted sources (“MSM”) to many unvetted sources. This increased perspectives + access to info, but at the cost of accuracy / onjectivity, leading to loss of trust 📉. 🤖 These days we’re trying to scale trust via AI (I’m personally seeing replies prompting Perplexity or Grok on X 📈), but anecdotally I’m still seeing more misinformation than not on X.

Opportunity for @warpcast (2/2): 🤗 Continue bringing more trusted and/or objective sources of news. 🦾 Lean into AI as counterbalance for fake news. 🤝 Keep investing in open data + algos to improve default accuracy & objectivity from humans + AI alike. 🏡 Push ppl into channels where subjective opinions can be expressed, discussed, or ignored. 🏆 Become de facto town hall for humanity beyond crypto.
