It must seem a bit strange to you that the name of dates is included in Omani cuisine. But it should be noted that dates play a very colorful and important role in the culture and cuisine of the Omani people and among the Arabs in general. Date cultivation is very common in Oman, so you can see different types of dates in this country. Interestingly, dates have managed to fit into Omani culture to the point that this product is also widely used in official parties and gatherings.

Sometimes dates are placed among rice flour and sesame or coconut powder and a delicious dessert is made with them. We should also say that dates play a colorful role in Omani cuisine and have an important place in most Omani dishes, desserts and sweets.
