A specialized programming language for SNARKs may in practice perform worse than general-purpose languages ββin areas such as compiler optimization, developer tools, online learning resources, and support for AI programming, and may even lead to less efficient SNARKs.
For this reason, it is expected that by 2025, more teams will be using off-the-shelf blockchain components, including consensus protocols, existing funds, and proof-of-stake systems, rather than building infrastructure from scratch. This approach will not only save time and money, but also allow teams to focus on differentiating the value of their product or service.
The infrastructure needed to build Web 3 products and services is already available for general use. In this arena, as in other industries, teams that can operate well in complex supply chains will succeed, not teams that are indifferent to anything they didn't build themselves. 0 reply
