Rojak is a type of Indonesian fruit and vegetable salad that is also popular in Singapore and Malaysia. Rojak is commonly found at mamak stalls, which are Indian Muslim-owned. Indonesian rojak is usually made with just fresh fruits and vegetables, but Malaysian versions often include other ingredients such as fried tofu, boiled potatoes, boiled eggs, and fried shrimp mixed in a thick, spicy peanut sauce.
