- In 2021, they bought 10000 GPUs, then bans after that limited their competitors.
- They didn’t hire Western AI people or send people to the West for education, also unlike their competitors, they hired enthusiastic young people with no knowledge and experience and basically just had them start doing things to learn as they go.
- They have been focusing only on creating large models, and have avoided taking time, energy, talent, and money to build apps on it.
- They open sources to get the global community to aid in the advancement.
