I committed a networking faux pas yesterday 

Someone said “we’re talking about xyz angels” and I said “I haven’t heard good things about xyz angels” and another person said “he runs xyz angels” 💀💀 

To be fair it’s an “investing group” and you have to pay $500 to pitch them. You also have to pay to $1000 to invest and access the “database” of startups they’re talking to. Seems predatory to me

Seems so. I wonder how many investments come of it.

But at the end of the day can understand why the business exists 🤷‍♂️
