Are NFTs helpful for membership passes?

I own both regular online memberships and NFT based versions.

And the main difference seems to be if I need to renew yearly, and whether I can sell it on at some point.
So largely seems to boil down to business model, and for most businesses yearly fees is preferred.

I do like my unlimited NFT membership passes. And it’s nice that you can see some upside if the membership becomes more valuable. But seems to tough to run a sustainable business with this model. Unless you raised a lot of money for it in the bull market.

In todays climate at least that’s a tough one. But ya doable. And somewhat like what nouns and purple does.

I think if the demand is there, you could do anlimited mint of nft memberships per year. Could even be something like an inverse halving to allow for growth but still keep some artificial scarcity afloat for members.
