Been spending time exploring a new job and had much fun. 

I have much to learn but I’ll be a ferry boat captain to one of the local islands here. A challenge as the vessel can be loaded in many different ways depending on conditions. It becomes a diff beast. I mostly love the social aspect though.

what qualifications did you have to become a ferry boat captain? Or was it just sorta “we like you”

Yeah I do have some papers for this. They translate badly but like driver license for boat. And license to be allowed to use maritime radio. Much like a pilot license (but way less fancy) you do need to get training on the actual boat/vessel you need to operate.
