Has there ever been a historical case of the working class rallying behind a major educated-middle-class issue? I canโ€™t think of one. And I mean middle class in cultural terms (support for higher education and arts etc) not economic (mortgage etcโ€ฆ since home ownership for eg is not a reliable cultural class marker)
