It seems like Google just killed all Chromecasts world wide... thought it was just Gen 1 (my two units died at the same time), but on r/Chromecast there's lots of people with the same issues on other generations.

I hope they fix it, cause I really like the simplicity of my Gen 1 Chromecasts... 🥲
