Doesn't interplanetary mean "inside the same planet"? Or does it mean a war between multiple planets? Because if its the latest, gotta say it's confusing.

No, a World War happens in a single planet.

Then, if we live in multiple planets, a war between the members of only one of these planets could be called a civil war 😜
