Where are the docs on how this name service works? What if the corresponding eth domain isn’t available?

You should be more clear saying you are issuing a subdomain of dotbase.eth not “you get the corresponding .eth”

Technical docs are not ready yet. Each .base name is associated with an alias in the form of *.dotbase.eth ENS name.

Yeah there should be a high bar for new name systems. This has zero documentation.

"where are the docs" is the right question. i'm dumb and i minted a couple before i realized this is just a worthless money grab. a well-done one.
