The slow showrooming of twitter is one of the most intriguing things I’ve seen online. It’s a powerful enough platform that very few are going off it cold turkey. But way more are turning it into a showroom for live activity elsewhere.

It's been that way for a while. I think that is proof that there is a lot of room for someone to swoop in and be the all-in-one tool for sharing thoughts. Integrating podcasting, newsletters, even spaces. Twitter should have been able to Zuck basically all of the emerging "influence" tools (but failed to do so).
