HUGE THANKS to @arob1000 and wife H for letting us pick their persimmons (and doing most of the picking work 😅) it was nice meeting waffles 🧇 and brie 🧀 too

Stripped the persimmon tree with @christin’s help today.  Gave her a few bags but we still have a ton of fruit!

I've only ever eaten them raw or in a salad.

By the way, do you make dried persimmons?
In Japan, it is customary to dry persimmons and eat them as a preserved food. The sweetness is concentrated and they are very delicious.

I eat 90% of them raw but my wife bakes with them and I can make some favorite dishes with them too.
