Whether we like it or not, @zora and @rodeodotclub are redefining cryptoart. They may be making each sale smaller, but its in the process of making art more crypto-native, with a more fluid market for every artwork. Its taking me a while to appreciate this, mostly because they made such dramatic and sudden changes to their minting prices and procedures. 

What are your feelings on this?

If they can actually achieve the stated goal of millions of users collecting instead of just consuming, it will be a game changer (IG of art collection)

If not, it's a race to the bottom in terms of pricing 

I'm not convinced that there are millions of users interested in art at any price

Seems more likely to work for viral type content

I've dipped my toes into the water on Rodeo, just for a place to mint raw WIPs from my current obsession for provenance

Zora doesn't work often enough for me to even bother

would indeed be cool to have people assign value to 1/1s

I agree, their format is suited for viral content rather than art. I haven't used Rodeo, and I havent used Zora more than once since the protocol update. I dont know how to play their game yet so I'm not playing it until I know I can properly earn from my art there.
I'm hoping we can make it cool to collect 1/1s again.
