Finally have time to catch up with x dm requests

I don't understand why someone wouldn't have DMs locked down to contacts on X 

99.9% of unsolicited DMs on X are scams and anyone legitimate should have no problem reaching out on the timeline to start a conversation that you can then move to DMs as needed

so many artists get scammed from DMs on X, locking down DMs was literally one of the first things people in the artist community recommended to me
