Finally finished putting my workspace together after adding the large middle monitor several months ago, mounting all three monitors on a triple arm

for reference, I now use three monitors for both work and art

I would struggle so much with being restricted to a laptop for nearly half a year

I do research for work, so I sometimes have up to 6 windows open at a time (simulated here using two browser windows and four pieces of my art)

there's a landscape oriented 42in 4k monitor in the middle, flanked by portrait oriented 27in 4k monitors on the side

I decided to switch from using the two 27in monitors in landscape orientation when I kept finding myself running out of room for more windows and getting lost in my daily workflow as my research became increasingly complex over the years

the huge monitor in the center turns out to be extremely useful for my artistic practice, as well, allowing me to be working on something in the main monitor with reference materials and such on the side monitors

sending healing hugs and empathy, hope you don't mind the oversharing
