I spend way too much time on my AlfaFrens to just have 34 subscribers. It's 500 degen a month to join which is an absurdly low amount. Today I told the story about how I knocked someone out with my camera when they tried to attack me. Come hang out before I give up and get a Patreon or some bullshit like that.

I know the struggle of trying to build a presence on a platform that you see potential for even though the earnings don't currently justify the time or energy you put into it

You are clearly killing it. But yeah I just keep thinking my time would be better spent elsewhere but I love the AF team and it’s really enjoyable to do it. Just maybe the time would be better spent.

I feel similarly - I'm trying to avoid any sunk cost fallacy, but it feels like the first time I've been early enough and in significant enough volume to something promising that it might just pay off handsomely

plus, as I've said before, as long as I have even one person subscribed for my art, I'll keep trying
