Haha thanks! The 1913 has been on my list since it had been recommended by another libary volunteer during our summer festival. When I saw it, I couldn't resist. Must have been a very interesting year in history.

I am assuming that it's because it was the last year before World War One - I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts! My latest read has been this exposé of the horrific conditions under which citizens of the Democratic Republic of the Congo labor to extract an element which powers much of the world's electronic systems - including the ones on which this is being written and read... something which everyone in Web3 should read, I think, since we sit at the top of a "supply chain," at whose base tens of thousands of children, women and men live in misery and die in terrible ways.
