So the discussion on Saul vs. Breaking Bad got me doing a rewatch of BB

Don’t know if it’s legitimate mental illness on my part, but even in knowing what happens in the end..

..I legitimately still cannot bring myself to like Skyler.

Honestly I think she’s a perfectly relatable character, strangely 

Like, objectively, she’s very flawed but realistic. People often don’t really have character arcs, they’re just reactive to their environments. 

That relationship used to just be Skyler wearing the pants. It got flipped and I guess the power struggle eh.. sort of continued. Both her and Walt are essentially control freaks.

We just gravitate to walt a lot more since, well, he’s the main character and we essentially see a lot of the show through his eyes.

honestly that's the only weak link in the whole series, weird character plot 

would have been better if she became addicted to the money but then demanded he stopped. much more realistic

man, skyler can’t be a good character to get typecast as

been watching Six Feet Under recently. same actress is in a couple episodes. much more likeable character but still couldn't get past Skyler vibes personally 😂

lol she’s the worst but also I feel like everyone on the show is meant to be incredibly flawed. She just got the most heat from the fans 🤣

Haven’t really gotten in Saul but should give it a chance one day as BB is defs up there in terms of solid consistent top level shows in its genre 🫡
